Parents also assume full responsibility for the student's safety inside and outside the Institute.

VI. Practice

  • The effectiveness of private and group lessons will be limited if sufficient practice isn’t happening at home. It is the student’s and parent’s responsibility to ensure sufficient quality practice time happens each week. If you have questions regarding how much you should be practicing or what are good practice techniques, please speak with your instructor.

VII.  Parents’Role

  • Praise and encouragement are the parents' greatest tools in helping your young musicians. Sit down and listen to your child's practice from time to time.  It is very motivating for your children to give comments upon the improvement you hear. Your involvement and encouragement will let your child know how much you really enjoy music and want to share it with them.

  • Talk to the teacher about any questions you or your child may have. Communication is important to a good learning relationship! Parents may attend lessons at the discretion of the teacher, and Parent-Teacher Conferences are available upon request.

VIII. Photo and Video Permission

  • I give consent for photos and video of my child to be used in J&F Musician promotional materials, brochures, flyers, print ads, and school websites. I understand students will not be identified by name on any promotional materials or photos unless permission has been granted by the parent/guardian.
