K–2 Beginner Level Musicianship Group Class

Our K–2 Beginner Level Musicianship Group Class is specially designed for children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade with no prior musical experience or very little exposure to music. This engaging small-group class provides a fun and supportive environment where young learners build a strong musical foundation before beginning private lessons.

Through singing, movement, games, and hands-on instrument exploration, students will develop essential musicianship skills while discovering the joy of making music with others.

In this 10-week program, students will learn:

  • Rhythm warm-ups and beat recognition

  • Listening skills and beginner solfège

  • Basic music notation

  • Keyboard fundamentals

  • Introduction to string instruments

  • Vocal activities and singing

  • Simple repertoire

  • Small-group ensemble and teamwork

This class is an excellent choice for children who are interested in music but are not yet ready for private lessons or families who want their child to explore different aspects of music before choosing an instrument. The program encourages confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music through interactive and enjoyable learning experiences.

Piano Group Lesson

Our Piano Group Lesson is designed for young beginners ages 5–7, providing a fun, interactive, and engaging introduction to piano. Through games, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate repertoire, students will develop a strong musical foundation while enjoying the experience of learning with their peers.

In this 12-week program, students will learn:

  • Proper piano posture and hand position

  • Basic note reading and rhythm skills

  • Keyboard geography and finger coordination

  • Ear training and musical listening

  • Ensemble playing and teamwork

  • Confidence through fun performances and group activities

Our experienced instructors create a positive and encouraging learning environment where every child can build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.

Vocal Group Lesson

Our Vocal Group Lesson is designed for children ages 5 and up who love to sing and explore music in a fun, supportive group setting. Through engaging vocal exercises, interactive activities, and age-appropriate songs, students will develop healthy singing habits while building confidence and musical expression.

In this 12-week program, students will learn:

  • Proper breathing and vocal techniques

  • Pitch matching and ear training

  • Rhythm and musicality

  • Vocal warm-ups and healthy voice habits

  • Teamwork through group singing and ensemble activities

Ukulele Group Lesson

Our Ukulele Group Lesson is specially designed for young beginners ages 5 and up who are interested in learning an instrument in a fun, encouraging, and social group environment. No prior musical experience is required. Students will learn the fundamentals of ukulele playing while building confidence, creativity, and a love for music.

Through hands-on instruction, singing, rhythm activities, and group playing, students will develop essential musical skills while experiencing the joy of making music together with their classmates.

In this 12-week program, students will learn:

  • Ukulele parts, posture, and proper playing techniques

  • Basic chords and chord changes

  • Strumming patterns and rhythm skills

  • Reading simple music notation and chord charts

  • Singing while playing ukulele

  • Basic music theory and ear training

  • Simple songs and beginner repertoire

  • Ensemble skills and teamwork through group performances

ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Group

Our ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Group is designed for students ages 8 and up who have at least two years of instrumental study and are ready to build a solid understanding of music theory. This course provides comprehensive preparation for the ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory Exam, an important milestone for students pursuing higher-level practical examinations.

Throughout this 16-week program, students will learn:

  • Music notation and terminology

  • Scales, keys, intervals, and chords

  • Rhythm, time signatures, and meter

  • Musical analysis and score reading

  • Harmony and voice leading fundamentals

  • Exam strategies and practice with past ABRSM-style questions

The course is taught by a Doctor of Music with extensive experience preparing students for ABRSM examinations. Lessons are structured, engaging, and designed to help students build confidence while developing a deep understanding of music theory.
